Teaching Ecologist
Kansas City, Kansas
I am a teaching ecologist and have worked with schools on curriculum, community connections, biodiversity, and other areas related to green schoolyards. I have worked in numerous countries throughout the world, and this is my greatest passion. I am also a doctoral student at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where I am working on a Schoolyard Biodiversity Exchange (SBE) as a possible dissertation topic. Through the SBE students will collect plant and animal species data on their school grounds, share the data with other schools, design their own projects, and learn about the importance of biodiversity and how their school grounds can become habitat islands. I live in Kansas City, Kansas.
